Volunteers DO Make A Difference!
The Resource Center for Women and Their Families is proud of our roots, starting over 29 years ago by a small group of volunteers. Their goal was to help women in abusive relationships in a time when little help existed. The Resource Center for Women and their Families has grown into the leading agency in Somerset County for advocacy, counseling and sheltering domestic violence victims.
Now, with a staff of over 30 professionals, we continue to take pride in the importance of the efforts of our volunteers as the backbone to our success.
We know our volunteers are extremely dedicated and work hard to help us in our efforts to end domestic violence. We want to continue the wonderful relationship we have, a relationship we depend on for success. We offer a number of volunteer opportunities to suit the needs of those wanting to help.
